The Selleys Fireblock range is a fire and acoustic rated sealant range for perimeter and penetration seals in fire-rated construction. All three products within the Selleys Fireblock Range have been Fire & Acoustic tested in accordance with AS1530.4-2014 up to 4 hours* in a horizontal and vertical joint of 40mm wide.
The Selleys Fireblock range includes unique UV fluorescent indicators. These allows certifiers during each stage of project development to verify the specified fire-rated sealants were used in the correct application. Selleys UV tracer technology incorporated into the product’s formulation, is invisible to the naked eye and is only identified by a UV torch which guarantees traceability of products in application. This unique technology offers a guaranteed source of quality and new levels of assurance, whilst acting as an incentive to ensure that products are used and applied correctly.
The range has been Acoustic Rated in accordance with BCA Acoustic Requirement. The weight sound reduction index defines single-number quantities for airborne sound insulation. Each of Selleys Fireblock products have an acoustic rating based on acoustic opinion reference 20210476.5/2703A/R0/AZ .
The Selleys Fireblock Range has a Low Toxic Formulation. It’s a low toxicity range with no GHS08 Chronic Health Hazard classification.
SELLEYS FIREBLOCK XT PRODUCT OVERVIEW
- Selleys Fireblock XT® is a low toxic high performance Hybrid Polymer Fire retardant Sealant with UV Tracer technology suitable for sealing internal and external gaps to prevent both fire and sound through construction joints and service penetrations without solvents, isocyanates or carcinogens.
- Selleys Fireblock XT® has an acoustic rating of up to 60 Rw* and joint movement capability of +-20%.
- This product has excellent UV and weather resistance and is paintable with water based paints.
SELLEYS FIREBLOCK PA PRODUCT OVERVIEW
- Selleys Fireblock PA® is a low toxic, low modulus, non-slumping, PSA composite sealant featuring UV Tracer technology and has been developed for fire and acoustic rated internal and external construction without solvents, isocyanates or carcinogens.
- Selleys Fireblock PA® has an acoustic rating of up to 67 Rw* and joint movement capability of +-40%.
- This product has excellent elongation and adhesion.
SELLEYS FIREBLOCK AC PRODUCT OVERVIEW
- Selleys Fireblock AC® is a low toxic, single-component acrylic fire rated sealant featuring UV Tracer technology that has been developed for internal perimeter and penetration seals in fire-rated construction without solvents, isocyanates or carcinogens.
- Selleys Fireblock AC® has an acoustic rating of > 67 Rw* and joint movement capability of +-25%.
- This product offers primerless adhesion.
